Job Location: Campus Specific (Nairobi, Kigali, Accra, Johannesburg)
We are scaling rapidly in product offerings and geographies as we aim to train 200, 000+ knowledge workers by the year 2030. In building toward that number of students, we need to also recruit and onboard instructors, called Technical Mentors, to maintain a healthy student:teacher ratio as well as supporting functions in the classroom team such as counsellors and operations associates. The Campus recruiter role is an essential part of the team that will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating potential talent. The Recruiter will also be responsible for onboarding successful candidates through a custom program. While roles at Moringa School are regularly onboarded through the People Team, the unique nature of the Classroom team requires bespoke programs that the Campus Recruiter will be responsible for designing and delivering.
Source candidates for Classroom specific roles, primarily Technical Mentors through various channels.
Design and run effective interview processes to identify high potential candidates for Classroom roles.
Design and implement an onboarding program for successful candidates, including facilitating sessions and holding new hires accountable to completing onboarding requirements.
Work closely with the Campus Head to iterate on recruiting and onboarding practices for the Classroom.
Manage a Fellowship Program for Technical Mentors designed to continuously develop their skills as educators.
An experienced facilitator with 3+ years of facilitation experience.
An experienced recruiter with 3+ years of experience sourcing and hiring talent.
A strong culture champion, able to share the vision and mission of an organization effectively.
Nice to Have/Not Required; Technical background or familiarity with software development best practices.
Demonstrated strong facilitation skills in driving toward stated learning outcomes
Ability to hold others accountable to a high-quality bar.
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
