The Generative AI Essentials Course is a 2-week, beginner-level course designed to equip working professionals and enthusiastic learners with the core knowledge and practical skills needed to use generative AI effectively in real-world contexts.

Participants will explore AI fundamentals, workplace applications, and professional outputs using a recommended primary tool, Claude, alongside alternative AI copilots such as Kimi, ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot that can be used on their free tiers. The course emphasizes hands-on exercises, guided demonstrations, and a final mini-project that enables learners to apply generative AI to practical business or personal use cases. In addition, because the generative AI landscape evolves rapidly, the course prioritizes transferable fundamentals over tool-specific features, equipping learners to adapt as tools change and to treat continuous upskilling as an ongoing practice.

To keep the learning curve manageable, learners work primarily in one AI assistant for day-to-day tasks, turning to specialized tools only where they offer something distinct.
