Moringa is excited to have TechBridge Invest onboard as a partner to facilitate the training of students outside Nairobi.  This partnership will see students from Mombasa join the 20-week Software Engineering course offered by Moringa as part of the tech institution’s mission to build talent and opportunities through tech-based learning. Moringa, a career accelerator for Tech professionals in Africa, has been training High School/University graduates to be Software Engineers and Data Scientists for the past 7 years in Kenya and achieved market leadership having trained over 4,000 students with an employment rate of over 85%.  

TechBridge, a technology Incubator, and Accelerator support venture founders through the hurdles of early-stage innovation and business development. TechBridge pioneered tech-incubation over 5 years ago in Mombasa and since then has supported 100+ ventures through its incubation and acceleration programs.

The partnership offers an opportunity for TechBridge’s Talent Community to access top-tier knowledge and learning support through Moringa and in turn, boost the availability of tech talent for early-stage ventures supported by TechBridge. 

Speaking during the partnership launch event,  Moringa CEO, Mr. Snehar Shar said, “With the recent announcement of our pre Series A Funding, Moringa is building on our proven track record of having trained 4,000+ students from our Nairobi base, having launched West Africa last quarter and now expanding within Kenya. Mombasa being my birthplace I have a deep passion to create significant job opportunities in the tech sector as Kenya plays a key part in the fourth industrial revolution.”
